Jamie Angus
Jamie Angus is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Al Arabiya Network. Before taking on this role, he held the position of Senior Controller of BBC News Output & Commissioning, where he was responsible for overseeing the commissioning and delivery of daily news and current affairs content across BBC News. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2021, Angus served as the Director of BBC World Service Group, overseeing all of the BBC’s international news services on TV, Radio, and Online in English and 42 other languages. Additionally, he served as the Editor of the UK’s flagship Today Programme on BBC Radio 4 from 2013 to 2016. Throughout his career at the BBC, Angus has also held the position of Editor of the World at One and Newshour, and Acting Editor of Newsnight.
